Skatepark Description
Surprise Skate Park is located inside of Dick McComb Park in Surprise, Arizona. It is a 10,000 square foot poured concrete skate park which was built by Site Design Group and opened in 2015. This unique park has a V-shaped layout with three elevations that flow smoothly from top to bottom. There are a pair of 5-stair sets, each with a tall grind rail. A smaller 2-stair set leads up to a quarter pipe transition ramp at one end of the park. The other wing of the park has banked transition ramps, though not a full bowl. Street skaters will appreciate the variety of ledges, walls, and A-frame ramps for grinds, flip tricks, and other technical tricks. The park is equipped with lights for night use.
