Skatepark Description
Rio Vista Skate Park is located inside of Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. Completed in 2004, this poured concrete skatepark offers 32,000 square feet of obstacles, bowls, and transition for skaters of all skill levels. Designed by Site Design Group, the park features a shaded seating area with bleachers as well as lights for skating after sunset. The park offers two bowls for vert skaters, one of which has swimming pool style coping and steps. For street skaters, the park has lots to offer. There are two separate 10-stair sets, one with a concrete ledge and the other with rails. There is a large flow section with lots of transition areas to ride. There are ledges everywhere of varying heights for grind tricks and ollie tricks. The park has a Euro Gap at one of the banked ramps, and an area for flatland tricks. All in all, a thorough and well thought out skatepark inside of a beautiful community park.
