Skatepark Description
Glendale Foothills Skate Park is located inside of Foothills Park in Glendale, Arizona. It is a 30,000 square foot poured concrete skate park that opened in 2006. This park was designed with comfort in mind. There are bleachers for parents and spectators, three covered ramadas, and a water fountain inside the park. The surrounding area is grass. The park features a 5-foot bowl with a center spine, and a peanut bowl with a roll-in that drops down to a second level which is 9 feet deep. The street course has long ledges, a fun box, and a 3-stair set near the entrance. Unique features of this park include the "double bumps" and a "rainbow" grind rail. The park is equipped with lights for night skating.
