Skatepark Description
Purple Heart Skate Park is located inside of Purple Heart Park in Tucson, Arizona. It is a 10,000 square foot poured concrete skate park. This park has a very organic layout with lots of curving lines. A unique feature of this park is the two sets of long, curved, 3-tier ledges that allow for grinds and other tricks. The rest of the park has a plaza-style street course with a small stair set, two fun boxes, and some ledges and rails around the outer perimeter. There is a good amount of transition areas to ride, though there is not a traditional skate bowl here. The park is equipped with lights for night use. There is a water fountain, but no shade cover.
