Skatepark Description
The Wedge Skate Park is located inside of Eldorado Park in Scottsdale, Arizona. This 21,000 square foot park has poured concrete construction. It is next to a large fountain and connected to multi-use paths that run throughout the long, linear park. The Wedge has an old-school bowl with some very steep angles that can be challenging to ride. There are two pyramid boxes and an L-shaped section of quarter pipe and transition ramps. The south end of the skate park has a large, flat area with grind rails. The park has a very open feel. While not part of the skatepark, many skaters ride the stair sets, hand railings, and walls around the fountain as obstacles. It is equipped with lights for night use.
