Gilbert Skate Park is located inside of Freestone Park in Gilbert, Arizona. It is a 22,000 square foot poured concrete skate park that opened in 2001. The park is well designed for both street skaters and bowl / vert skaters. There are three bowls of varying depths, two of which are connected by a spine transfer. The park entrance has a ramp with a grind rail, long concrete ledge, and a kinked concrete ledge. The center features a two step fun box with a concrete ledge. There is a lot of transition areas to ride and two curved 90-degree ledges to practice your grinds. There are two quarter pipes with a small channel gap for aerial tricks. This park really has it all! It is equipped with lights for night skating.
